The AWS Certified Security Specialty exam validates technical skills and experience in securing and hardening workloads and architectures on the AWS platform. Attendees with two or more years of hands-on experience designing and deploying cloud architecture on AWS should join this 4-hours, certification & training course to learn how to prepare and succeed in the exam. We will help you prepare for the exam by exploring the exam’s topic areas and mapping them to specific areas to study. We will review sample exam questions in each topic area, teaching you how to interpret the concepts being tested so that you can better eliminate incorrect responses.

The Advanced Developing on AWS course uses the real-world scenario of taking a legacy, on-premises monolithic application and refactoring it into a serverless microservices architecture. This three-day advanced certification & training course covers advanced development topics such as architecting for a cloud-native environment; deconstructing on-premises, legacy applications and repackaging them into cloud-based, cloud-native architectures; and applying the tenets of the Twelve-Factor Application methodology.

In this course, you will learn about planning and designing your solutions with purpose-built Amazon Web Services (AWS)Cloud databases. The course introduces you to the features and characteristics of each of these databases and shares the design considerations that you should make while using them. By taking this course, youcan develop the analytical skills needed to choose the right AWS database for yourunique needs. By the end of the course, you will be able to analyze a business use case, analyze the workload, and assessapplication requirements to identify and design the most suitable AWS database solution to support yourorganizational needs.

Amazon EKS makes it easy for you to run Kubernetes on AWS without needing to install, operate, and maintain your own Kubernetes control plane. In this three-day course, you will learn container management and orchestration for Kubernetes using Amazon EKS. You will build an Amazon EKS cluster, configure the environment, deploy the cluster, and add applications to your cluster. You will also manage container images using Amazon Elastic Container Registry (ECR) and learn how to automate application deployment. In addition, you will deploy applications using CI/CD tools. You will review how to monitor and scale your environment by using metrics, logging, tracing, and horizontal/vertical scaling. You will also learn how to design and manage a large container environment for efficiency, cost, and resiliency. Lastly, you will configure AWS networking services to support the cluster and learn how to secure your Amazon EKS environment.

The workshop explores the exam’s topic areas, shows how they relate to architecting on AWS, and maps them to specific areas for future self-study. It includes sample exam questions from each domain and discussions of concepts being tested to help test-takers better eliminate incorrect responses.
